Lunch at Quinta de La Rosa – Restaurante Cozinha da Clara
With impressive views of the Douro River, Quinta de La Rosa has officially opened the Cozinha da Clara restaurant. A name loaded with feeling and in a “clear” tribute to the grandmother of Sophia Bergqvist, co-owner and manager of Quinta de la Rosa.
Cozinha da Clara bets on gastronomy of Portuguese roots, favoring local and seasonal products, but complemented and without forgetting the gastronomic heritage of the family, with dishes from grandma Clara’s prescription. A kitchen whose philosophy is fueled by simplicity and which is at the command of chef Pedro Cardoso, double in the room with Pedro Esteves.
To accompany the menu, a list of wines carefully chosen by the winemaker of the house, Jorge Moreira. The wines of Quinta de la Rosa will take place, but there will be no shortage of other options: starting with the ‘Passagem’ wines, which Sophia and Jorge produce at Quinta das Bandeiras, in the Douro Superior; passing through the ‘Dust’; and ending in wines that escape the “dominion” of the winemaker, but that tell him something.

Join one of our daily visits or book a private visit to the winery and traditional aging basement, followed by lunch with tasting of our Wines QLR White, QLR Rosé, QLR Red and LBV 2013. A set menu selected by our chef will be served and consisting of amuse bouche, main course and dessert
