Transfer on a Rabelo Boat along a stunning stretch of the Douro River, from Tua – Cais Foz Tua – to Pinhão, without national roads along the riverbanks.
We descend the river for one hour, passing by terraced vineyards reaching down to the water, and viewing historic winery estates such as Malvedos, Vila Velha, Roriz, São José, Beira Rio, Romaneira, Roncão, Pessegueiro, Ventozelo, Roeda, Carvalhas, Bomfim, among others. This unique landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
VERY IMPORTANT:
The embarkation point in Tua is at CAIS FOZ-TUA, not the pier in front of Tua station. It is located further downriver, near the mouth of the Tua River.
If passengers are not at the pier 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time, the boat will not stop at the pier.
We operate both open and closed Rabelo boats, allowing us to navigate all year round, in any weather conditions.
