Private tour on a *barco rabelo*, exclusively for you and your group, for as long as you wish.
We navigate an itinerary of your choice, with the possibility of stopping for a swim in the river, if conditions allow.
Enjoy the sun, picnic with your own food or one provided by us upon request, have lunch, or savor a drink—perhaps even a glass of Port wine.
We recommend heading upstream on a fantastic and peaceful stretch of the Douro River, free from national roads or traffic and thus not visible by car. You’ll see terraces that reach the riverbanks, centuries-old wine estates, and a unique landscape designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Itineraries with lock passage must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
For one- or two-hour upstream itineraries, we offer free audio information about the sights during the tour in Portuguese, French, English, Spanish, and German, which you can listen to on your own device. For your comfort, please use headphones.
